Justin Bieber's stylist has claimed that the singer's recent dramatic change of hairstyle has been planned for some time.Bieber trimmed his trademark hair earlier this week, instead opting for a closely-cropped shorter cut, with Vanessa Price claiming that it was the right time for the change.
"He was ready," Price told People. "Cutting your hair is just part of the evolution and growing process for anyone, and I think he was just ready."
The stylist added that the change of hairstyle had actually been planned for a while, contrary to Bieber's insinuation that he had only decided on the revamp recently.
"We've been talking about it over the last six months or so, more or less," Price added. "It's definitely been in the works for a while."
Bieber revealed this week that he plans to auction the cut-off pieces of his hair for charity.
The bidding has already gone to $12,000!
